The De Ville Central Tourbillon

This OMEGA De Ville Central Tourbillon is a sublime expression of the art of watchmaking. Handcrafted in OMEGA’s Cellule Haut de Gamme in Bienne by a select group of horologists, it is the only central tourbillon wristwatch in the world.  
The tourbillon cage rotates completely once every minute, offsetting the effect of gravity on the performance of the watch.

More than 500 hours of craftsmanship

With the extraordinary skeletonized version of the Central Tourbillon, the watchmaker has sawn away all non-essential material from the plates and bridges, then bevelled their edges. It is the work of one watchmaker who has spent more than 500 hours on its creation.

A watchmaker’s masterpiece

Each watchmaker engraves his or her personal initial on the main tourbillon plate. When a Central Tourbillon is returned to OMEGA for servicing, it will be placed in the hands of the watchmaker who created it. The OMEGA De Ville Central Tourbillon is the exquisite creation of a legendary watch brand working at the peak of its powers.
