OMEGA celebrates the opening of a new boutique in the heart of Paris

To celebrate its new boutique in Paris, the largest in Europe, OMEGA held a lavish cocktail party on Thursday, 30 January, at 35 Boulevard des Capucines, attended by approximately 200 guests including celebrities, journalists and friends of the brand.

The prestigious watch brand’s seventh Parisian boutique was the result of its collaboration with Bucherer, one of the largest distributors of Swiss watches.  The Paris boutique is the fourth managed by Bucherer along with those in Lucerne, Interlaken and Vienna.

Stephen Urquhart, president of OMEGA, and Florence Ollivier, president of Swatch Group France, cut the ceremonial red ribbon with the help of their special guests, Guido Zumbühl, director of the Bucherer Group and Ivo Scala, president of BUCHERER Distribution, a subsidiary of the Group.

Two prominent friends of the brand, Yann Arthus-Bertrand and Caterina Murino, were happy to share the moment in the space dedicated to the masters of time.

Throughout the evening, in a warm and festive atmosphere, the guests were able to explore the sophisticated, bright and luxurious new 340 m2 space. They also had the opportunity to admire some of OMEGA’s defining products: the Speedmaster Professional, the first watch to be worn on the Moon, and the Seamaster, whose ambassador is none other than the world’s favourite spy from, James Bond.

OMEGA president Stephen Urquhart pointed out that the boutique featured the brand’s global design concept, which is expressed in every detail, and he invited the guests to admire the dazzling showcases, the immense staircase and the warm space that was developed around four key elements: the sun, water, and of course, time.

During the evening, the music was provided by DJ Julia Gautier and the cocktail party was a delicious diversion for every guest.
