A highly successful seventh round of the 2004 OMEGA Swiss Double Eagle Golf Trophies

The seventh tournament in the 2004 OMEGA Swiss Double Eagle Golf Trophies turned out to be a highly memorable occasion. This annual event reflects OMEGA's commitment to golf at local as well as at international level. The seventh round was hosted at the exclusive Golf Club “Domaine Imperial” Gland, near Geneva, where also OMEGA President Stephen Urquhart was participating this years tournament. The club enjoyed a great turnout of 132 participants at the event that was co-organised by prestigious Swiss watch manufacturer OMEGA and Swiss retailer, Zbinden in Geneva. This match was the seventh in a series of eight: the winners of every match will play each other in the Grand Final which will take place in the Golfpark Otelfingen in August.

The match was hosted by the exclusive Golf Club “Domaine Imperial” situated in the beautiful lakeside foothills near Geneva. Some impressive golf was played, where also OMEGA President Stephen Urquhart was participating this years tournament. After the tournament, guests sampled cocktails outside the picturesque clubhouse, that was originally built in the ancient times by the emperor Napoleon!



Co-organiser, Mrs Michelle Zbinden (manager of the Zbinden store in Geneva) commented on the success of the day, saying, “It was just a great tournament. This event was extremely popular with club members and was booked out early. The standard of play was tremendous and the atmosphere as well as the weather conditions were perfect. Especially I want to quote out that the professionalism of all organisation teams made this event a successful and unforgettable happening”.



The next round of the OMEGA Swiss Double Eagle Golf Trophies series of 9 matches


will take place on 15 August in the Wyllihof Golfclub near Solothurn and this will be co-organised by OMEGA and the Adam Watch Store, Olten.
