The Parisian Omega Boutique welcomed more than 120 guests, aficionados of the brand and press members to give tribute to Ellen MacArthur and her record.

To celebrate this achievement, Olivier Péretier, Grand reporter at the Nouvel Observateur, and a true passionate sailor himself, introduced Ellen and her amazing achievement in the international world of sailing and her flamboyant record around the world.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The record was held by a French man Francis Joyon and most experts thought that the record would be beyond Ellen.

But in a superhuman effort that forced her to big deeper than ever before, she proved the doubters were wrong and her efforts captured the world’s admiration and respect.

All the guests were amazed by the personality of Ellen, a true achiever yet a profound person who reflects the value of the brand : Precision, excellence and fair play.
