ROCHESTER, N.Y. (Aug. 11, 2013) – After winning by two shots for a 270 total, Jason Dufner was presented with the OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600 M timepiece to commemorate his win at the 95th PGA Championship, which concluded Sunday evening at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester.

Dufner, runner up in the 2011 PGA Championship, shot 2-under-par 68 on Sunday to finish the season’s final major at 10-under-par 270 and two strokes ahead of fellow American Jim Furyk.  It was an impressive Championship for Dufner, who shot a course record 63 in the second round.  Prior to this victory, the 36-year-old Alabama native had two PGA TOUR titles to his name, recording both of those victories in 2012.

Following the Wanamaker Trophy presentation, the OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600 M timepiece was presented to Dufner by President of The PGA of America Ted Bishop.

“In our third year as a partner and Official Timekeeper of the PGA of America, we are pleased to present this exceptional timepiece to Jason Dufner after his thrilling win at the 2013 PGA Championship,” said OMEGA President Mr. Stephen Urquhart. “We congratulate Jason on his outstanding play at Oak Hill and are proud that this OMEGA timepiece can serve to commemorate his first PGA Championship – and first Major – win.”

The 95th edition of the PGA Championship was contested on the challenging East Course at the Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York from the 8th to the 11th of August. It marked the third time that the PGA Championship, the golf season’s final Major, was played at the club and the third PGA Championship at which OMEGA served as Official Timekeeper.

The 96th PGA Championship will be held at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, K.Y., from the 4th through the 10th of August, 2014.
