Timeless OMEGA Ladymatic watches launched at glittering event in Seoul.
OMEGA introduced its Ladymatic automatic watches for women at a special event at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul, South Korea. The entire Ladymatic collection – including the models launched at Baselworld in 2013 – was presented to media and invited guests.
There was also an exclusive exhibition of the very first OMEGA Ladymatic launched in 1955 along with some unique pieces on loan from the OMEGA Museum in Biel, Switzerland including the legendary Moldavita. Created in 1964 for the New York World’s Fair, it conveyed a vision of the future by pairing an extremely rare 7.5 gram gem-quality moldavite – a type of glass formed following the impact of a meteor – set on a pendant and OMEGA’s smallest and most accurate ladies' automatic movement.
The presentation and exhibition were followed by a gala dinner featuring celebrities and local opinion leaders. South Korea screen stars Hye-soo Kim, Sang woo Kwon, Ji-tae Yu, Yu ri Sung, Dong-wook Lee, Ji-hoon Kim & Sungryoung Kim attended the event as did golfer and OMEGA brand ambassador S.Y. Noh.
