OMEGA celebrates the opening of its third boutique in Bangkok.

Back

The inauguration of Thailand’s latest OMEGA boutique was included an introduction to the world of OMEGA as well as some surprises for the guests attending the event. Located at the emerging luxury shopping destination Central Embassy, this new retail venue reflects the increasing popularity of the Swiss watch brand in this region of the world.

Its design follows the global concept featured in OMEGA's boutiques around the world. Upon entering this 100-square-meter boutique on G Floor, visitors are welcomed in a warm, luxurious atmosphere. In addition to OMEGA's iconic gentlemen's and ladies' timepieces, the OMEGA boutique at Central Embassy offers the brand's Fine Jewellery and Fine Leather collections, whose pieces complement the legendary watch lines and introduce visitors to the complete world of OMEGA.

In the evening on Monday 23 June 2014, guests arrived at the launch event in great number. The ladies were especially stunning in colours of gold and white, echoing the mood of luxury proposed by the chic lounge set up especially for this inauguration in front of the boutique.

A dance performed by two of Thailand’s best talents elegantly blended elements of contemporary dance and a ballet. Its flowing moves were inspired by both the fluid design and the name of the OMEGA Constellation Pluma watch – the star of the evening – whose name in Latin means “feather”. This was followed by a fashion show by top models and celebrities, as well as surprise appearances by two of the country’s major stars, Sririta Jensen and Saharat Sangkapricha.

The launch event concluded with the ribbon cutting ceremony by Swatch Group Trading Managing Director David Ponzo and Busara Tantiwarathaworn Brand Manager of Omega (Thailand), Central Embassy Assistant Vice President Jomsuda Chirathivat and other celebrated guests.
