Champion Jason Day was presented with the OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra “Golf” to commemorate his stunning victory on Sunday evening.

The 2015 PGA Championship, which was held Aug. 10-16, marked the 97th edition of one of the most anticipated golf events on the calendar and the season’s final major. It marked the fifth PGA Championship at which OMEGA, an Official Patron of The PGA of America, served as Official Timekeeper.

After receiving the famed Wanamaker Trophy, Australian golfer Jason Day was presented with the OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra “Golf” by the PGA of America President Derek Sprague at a private ceremony in the clubhouse.

The timepiece, which was created to celebrate the brand's expanded presence in the world of golf, is powered by OMEGA’s revolutionary Master Co-Axial calibre 8500 self-winding mechanical movement. With its green transferred “Seamaster” name and matching numbers on the minute track, the watch recalls the verdant courses where golf’s great events are contested and fashionably identifies itself with the sport.

The Seamaster Aqua Terra "Golf" wristwatch was presented on a brown leather strap and is also available with OMEGA’s patented screw and pin stainless steel bracelet.

As Official Timekeeper, OMEGA now looks forward to assuming its timekeeping duties at more competitions in 2016 including the 98th PGA Championship in Springfield N.J, the Ryder Cup and the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
