READY FOR ACTION
The 41 mm stainless steel case features a blue ceramic bezel with a Liquidmetal™ diving scale and red rubber covering the first 15 minutes. The NATO strap is blue, red and grey and follows a 5-stripe pattern with a polished buckle.
THE COMMANDER'S WATCH IN LONDON
"The Commander’s Watch salutes the ensign colours of the British Royal Navy."
THE DIAL DESIGN
The dial of the watch is polished white ceramic and includes 12 blue indexes, the word "Seamaster" written in red and blue skeleton hands. Unique features include the 007 gun logo counterweight on the central seconds hand and the number 7 in the date window which is coloured red, while all other numbers are blue.
On the wave-edged caseback, the stripes of the Commander’s naval insignia are featured on the rotor of the new OMEGA Calibre 2507. There is also a central 9mm "bullet" design which adds to the 007 touch. The stainless steel model is limited to just 7,007 pieces.
COMMANDER BOND AND THE BRITISH ROYAL NAVY
OMEGA watches were once issued to military divers around the world. In fact, the brand delivered more than 110,000 watches to Great Britain’s MoD in World War II. It is entirely plausible that Commander James Bond would have been issued with an OMEGA watch.
"OMEGA has been worn on the wrist of James Bond since GoldenEye in 1995"
THE PRESENTATION BOX
The Commander’s Watch is presented in a special box that has been inspired by a real medal case. The box also contains a stainless steel bracelet, a changing tool and a "naval pin" that mirrors the design of the NATO strap.
RARE YELLOW GOLD MODEL
A second model, made from 18K yellow gold, is also available in just 7 limited pieces. Its diving scale is crafted from Ceragold™ and the watch also includes an 18K yellow gold central seconds hand.
