OMEGA is delighted to be the Title Sponsor of the OMEGA Asian Yachting Circuit.

Says Kevin Rollenhagen, Vice President for OMEGA China and Hong Kong, "This is the first season that Omega has been involved in the Asian Yachting Circuit and it's very exciting for us in Hong Kong and around the region. The China Sea Race is the fourth and final event on this prestigious series that also takes place in Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore. We are aware of Hong Kong's maritime history and tradition - and now we at OMEGA have become a part of it through involvement in this classic regatta."

The new partnership fits perfectly into OMEGA's global sailing sponsorship, alongside the " most prestigious" sailing events in the world, i.e. the America's Cup in 2000 and 2003. The brand is also a partner of two of sailing's biggest international stars: solo round-the-world yachtswoman Ellen MacArthur and Team New Zealand's skipper Dean Barker. The OMEGA Asian Yachting Circuit complements the brand's existing involvement at the top level in sailing and demonstrates our commitment to Asia and Asian sailing".

OMEGA has a strong presence throughout all the regattas with branding on all yachts, on course markers and at harbour sites. Adding further impact is OMEGA'ssponsorship of championship winning yacht Hi-Fidelity, skippered by Neil Pryde, whose crew will be kitted out in OMEGA branded shirts while they fly an OMEGA spinnaker during races. The winner of the elite Racing Division, the "Formula One" at the event, will receive (alongside their trophy) a coveted OMEGA Seamaster watch - a fitting reward for such an inspiring display of skill, precision, teamwork and commitment
