Omega at home at H.H. the President of the UAE Cup

Omega supports the Endurance 2005 President's Cup and joins the Endurance family along with the country's ruling family and leading society.

The challenging distances of Endurance races are widely recognized for the incredibly high demands placed on horse, rider, and support teams. The 2005 Endurance President's Cup demonstrated Omega's support of Endurance and the brand's commitment to the values of determination and perseverance inherent in the races. With involvement and participation that exceeded the role of sponsor, Omega was honored with the title of Crown Jewel Sponsor at the Endurance 2005 President's Cup.

Omega management and guests spent much of the day experiencing first-hand the gruelling demands of the race by assisting rider teams with the distribution of water at various stages of the race and following the rider teams in the Omega-arranged SUVs. The visibility of Omega's people, working out-front and behind-the-scenes, ensured that the brand is now an established and acknowledged part of the Endurance family.

"With the Abu Dhabi Endurance 2005 President's Cup race, we were able to further mark the brand's positioning in the prestigious and fabulous world of Endurance Racing" said Mr. Milvin George - Omega Brand Manager for the Middle East region. "All the elements for success were present for a great race thanks to the efforts of the Abu Dhabi race organisers and naturally, Mohammad Rasool Khoory and Sons - Omega Dealers in Abu Dhabi to whom Omega is immensely grateful for their contribution to the brand and brand image."

One of the main highlights of the day was H.H. Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed al Nahyan's surprise visit to the Omega boutique which had been set-up for the race day. His highness's visit was an act of recognition for Omega as a partner to the sport, the society and the culture of Endurance racing. Mr. Yousef Rasool Khoory then presented H.H. Sheikh Hazza with the brand-new Omega Constellation Double Eagle Chronograph as a token of appreciation.

The day ended with the prize remittance to the winners and victor Marzooq Salem Al Marri riding Ro-Fabiola. Second and third places were respectively held by Matar Ali Al Hammadi riding Judstan Sheetah and Yousef Ahmed Al Bloushi riding Cameo Zinniaa.

Omega is looking forward to further Endurance Race experiences throughout the 2005 season in the Middle East.
