After being moored at the side of the lake next to the 18th hole for a couple of day, the 19th green today assumed its final position in the middle of the lake, some 150 metres from the 19th tee platform that has been erected alongside the 17th fairway.
From the morning onwards, there was a steady flow of intrigued members of the public queuing to try their luck at hitting this challenging target, as the number of balls both on the "green" and - unusually for golf balls - floating on the lake around it. It will be interesting to see how the Omega pro teams shape up to this challenge at the end of the third round on Saturday.
