Cindy Crawford’s appearance at the OMEGA Pavilion capped a period of intense activity for OMEGA in Turin, both as Official Timekeeper and as host of a broad range of hospitality activities for special guests of OMEGA, VIPs and members of the OMEGA Gold Card program. Throughout the Torino 2006 Olympic Winter Games, guests of OMEGA have been invited to the OMEGA Lounge for refreshments and evenings devoted to wine tasting, live music, whisky-tasting and public appearances by special guests and prominent OMEGA ambassadors, including solo yachtswoman and world record holder Ellen MacArthur, star US swimmer Michael Phelps and, on the final evening of Pavilion activities in Turin during the Olympic Winter Games, Cindy Crawford.

During her visit to the OMEGA Lounge the evening of February 25th, Cindy Crawford spoke briefly to the assembled guests and thanked OMEGA for giving her the opportunity to visit the Torino 2006 Olympic Winter Games.  She then signed the OMEGA Guest Book in the lounge and stayed to chat and pose for photographs with Turinese VIPs and celebrities and guests from the Olympic Family. Attending these “closing ceremonies” of the OMEGA Pavilion were a number of prominent business persons and leading representatives of Italian culture and government institutions, including those responsible for the organization of the XX Olympic Winter Games.
