In his first appearance in Europe teenage golf prodigy Tadd Fujikawa shot a 68 to finish 3rd with his partner in Monday's Pro-Am ahead of this week's Omega European Masters at Crans-Montana, Switzerland. The 16-year-old from Hawaii accepted a sponsor's invitation from Omega to appear in the prestigious event, which begins on Thursday. Last year Fujikawa became the youngest player since 1941 to qualify for the US Open, and earlier this year in Hawaii he became the youngest player for 50 years to make a PGA Tour cut. One month later Fujikawa won the Hawaii Pearl Open, the first amateur since 1992 to win the tournament. He turned professional in July.
