Prelude to OMEGA Mission Hills World Cup

OMEGA Mission Hills World Cup 2009 will be held at the Olazábal Course at the Mission Hills from November 26 to 29, 2009. For the honour of their countries, players from 28 nations will compete for the championship with the total prize of US$5.5 million.

OMEGA Ambassador and leading Chinese golfer Zhang Lian-wei and English golf star Ian Poulter, who recently won the Singapore Open, were invited to visit OMEGA Boutique at Lan Fong Road, Causeway Bay on November 9, 2009 at a pre-World Cup event.

The players discussed their experience as professional golfers and expressed their confidence about the upcoming OMEGA Mission Hills World Cup. They laughed as they were presented a replica of the World Cup trophy.

The OMEGA Mission Hills World Cup 2009 is again being staged on the Olazábal Course at Mission Hills. Its challenging 7400-yard layout was designed by double Masters Tournament Champion José Maria Olazábal.
