Golf legend and OMEGA Ambassador Greg Norman joined OMEGA President Mr. Stephen Urquhart at the Atlanta Athletic Club on Wednesday to celebrate OMEGA’s new role as Official Timekeeper of The PGA of America.
Following the State of The PGA of America press conference, where Mr. Urquhart and Mr. Norman were recognized, the two joined President of The PGA of America Mr. Allen Wronowski and CEO of The PGA of America Mr. Joe Steranka for a photo opportunity at the OMEGA clock in front of the Clubhouse at the Atlanta Athletic Club.
The 93rd PGA Championship, golf’s final major, begins Thursday. It is the first event of OMEGA’s new five-year partnership with The PGA of America, which provides for multiple “Official Timekeeper” designations and marks a major breakthrough for OMEGA in the world of golf in the United States.
OMEGA Ambassadors Sergio Garcia and Seung-Yul Noh will both be in competition at the 93rd PGA Championship. Garcia tees off at 1:25 p.m. ET on Thursday with Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler of the United States. Noh tees off at 2:45 p.m. ET with Americans Jeff Coston and D.J. Trahan.
