2011 PGA Championship news


OMEGA Brand ambassador Sergio Garcia shot a one-under-par 69 in round two of the 93rd PGA Championship at the Atlanta Athletic Club on Friday.

It was a strong day for Garcia on Friday, who posted a front-nine, even-par 35, and three birdies and one double bogey back-nine 34.  


With his first round 72, Garcia has a two day total of 141 (+1) and is currently tied for 26th on the leaderboard.  


Tied with Garcia in 26th place is fellow OMEGA Ambassador Seung-Yul Noh who posted four birdies and shot a 70 on Friday for a 141 (+1) after two rounds.


Jason Dufner and Keegan Bradley of the U.S. are currently tied for 1st place with 135 after two rounds.


On Saturday, Noh tees off at 12:10 p.m. ET with Phil Mickelson and Garcia tees off at 12:30 p.m. ET with Harrison Frazar.


The 93rd PGA Championship, golf’s final major, marks the first event of OMEGA’s new five-year partnership with The PGA of America and represents a major breakthrough for OMEGA in the sport of golf in the United States.
