OMEGA House hosts festive celebration on Brazilian Night

OMEGA and guests celebrated the next Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games in style with Olympians and VIPs

On Friday night, guests at the OMEGA House were greeted with a lively and festive atmosphere as the Swiss watchmaker celebrated Brazilian’s rich culture. As the London 2012 Olympic Games slowly come to an end, the brand has begun looking forward to the next Olympic Summer Games which will be hosted by Rio de Janeiro in 2016.

After walking into the OMEGA House, guests had the opportunity to show their true Brazilian pride with temporary tattoos of the South American country’s flag. Staff served traditional Brazilian nibbles and cocktails while VIPs, Olympians and OMEGA enthusiasts enjoyed the balmy weather in the Secret Garden.

Highlights of the event included Capoeiristas – practitioners of the Brazilian martial art of Capoeira - and Brazilian dancers in elaborate and intricate costumes who entranced guests in the Secret Garden and throughout several other watch-themed rooms in the OMEGA House.

OMEGA House offered the perfect opportunity for Olympic athletes and fans to unwind after the second week of the Games, transporting them out of London and into Brazil, if only for an evening.

The OMEGA House is the brand’s social activity hub throughout the London 2012 Olympic Games and is located in the heart of London’s Soho district.
