Dustin Tri Nguyen inaugurates OMEGA boutique in Hanoi

Vietnamese-born American actor Mr. Dustin Tri Nguyen was on hand to help celebrate the grand opening of the OMEGA Boutique in Hanoi on February 2nd. The star, who has established his reputation in film and television roles, cut the ribbon in the presence of media and distinguished guests, officially opening the store in Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem District. It is the second OMEGA Boutique in Vietnam.

Also on hand to take part in the grand opening were Mr. Andrej Motyl, Switzerland’s ambassador to Vietnam and Mr. Jean-Claude Monachon, Vice President and Head of Product Development at OMEGA. Following the ribbon cutting, they joined other guests inside the boutique at a cocktail party.

The new flagship store offers OMEGA’s entire product palette, including items not available at any other retail location.

The flagship store is an important part of OMEGA’s retail strategy. In December of 2000, the late Nicolas Hayek, then Chairman of Swatch Group, made a bold announcement at the grand opening of the first OMEGA Boutique in Zurich. OMEGA’s ambitious goal, he said, was to extend the corporate boutique network to include 50 retail shops devoted exclusively to OMEGA products within ten years. OMEGA met that target in 2008 and today, the number of monobrand boutiques in the global network is around 285, located at the world’s best retail addresses.

The OMEGA Boutique in Hanoi has a prime corner location and features impressive show windows. The total surface area of 125 square metres is divided over two floors, with the ground floor dedicated primarily to sales and the first floor to additional sales space as well as a lounge where visitors to the boutique can relax. The boutique is open every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
