Speaking about his trip to Beijing, Chad le Clos said, “I like the city very much because the audience here is so enthusiastic. I won six gold medals here in 2011 and with the World Cup championship, it’s even more exciting. The competition was great and the memories and friends I made will last forever.” Chad also emphasized that timekeeping was very important in sport events and even a hundredth of a second could make a difference, adding that OMEGA had made great contributions to maintaining accurate timekeeping for top sport events. He also mentioned that he would work to make progress every day to achieve an even better performance in the next Olympic Games. After the interview, Chad signed photographs and gave them to guests and members of the press as gifts.
