Complete with new design elements and the brand’s full product palette, the St. Moritz OMEGA Boutique opened this week.
OMEGA opened the doors to its eighth boutique in Switzerland, its home country, on Thursday, 12 December. Situated on Via Serlas in the Swiss ski resort town of St. Moritz, the newest addition to OMEGA’s extensive boutique network offers guests an intimate, luxurious atmosphere where they can browse the brand’s extensive selection of ladies’ and gents’ Constellation, Seamaster, De Ville and Speedmaster timepieces.
The 40-square-metre OMEGA Boutique in St. Moritz is the second “house of OMEGA” to feature new design elements, including wall panelling and counters crafted from reconstituted zebrawood and furniture pieces made with attractive red leather. These new complement the global design concept, which is inspired by the sun, water, earth and, of course, time.
In addition to pieces from OMEGA’s four watch families, the St. Moritz boutique also offers products from the Fine Leather collection and dazzling Fine Jewellery pieces.
In 2000, the Swatch Group’s late chairman, Nicolas G. Hayek, announced that within ten years, OMEGA would have fifty flagship boutiques in the most desirable locations. OMEGA reached the goal in 2008 and at the end of 2013 the brand will have opened more than 300 boutiques at the world’s best shopping addresses.
The OMEGA Boutique in St. Moritz is located at Via Serlas 24 and is open Monday through Saturday from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
