In the time leading up to the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, OMEGA unveiled nine of its famed Countdown Clocks across the Russian Federation, and on 7 February at 20:14 (MSK) each of them finally reached 00 DAYS 00:00:00, marking the start of the Opening Ceremony and what is sure to be a truly inspiring and memorable event.
OMEGA is serving in its capacity as Official Timekeeper for the 26th time since 1932. At the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, the brand’s presence will be impressive with 230 tonnes of timekeeping equipment, 260 on-site professionals and 170 trained volunteers.
