South African swimming star and OMEGA brand ambassador Chad Le Clos equaled Australian legend Ian Thorpe's record of seven medals at a single Commonwealth Games
On Tuesday, the 22-year old added two bronze medals in the 200m individual medley and 4x100m medley relay. Le Clos now has an overall tally of 12 Commonwealth Games medals – one more than Ian Thorpe.
Coming into the final day of competition, Le Clos had already won gold in both the 100m and 200m butterfly, silver in the 4x100m freestyle relay and two bronze in the 4x200m freestyle relay and 50m butterfly.
