OMEGA celebrated the upcoming opening of its Miami Design District boutique yesterday evening with a red carpet soirée that drew bold-faced names including actress Camilla Belle, along with nearly 400 of the city’s influencers, such as Inés Rivero, Criselda Breene, Susanne Birbragher, Jay Phillip Parker, David Bloom, Fernanda and Pedro Domit, Hernan Arriaga and Fabio Lopes, Marco and Vanessa Selva, Anastasia Koutsioukis and Ahmet Erkay, among others.
Hosted by OMEGA Vice President and Head of International Sales, Raynald Aeschlimann, the evening paid homage to the Swiss watchmaker’s Master Co-Axial technology – the world’s first industrialized anti-magnetic movements that continue OMEGA's 166-year history of innovation.
Staged inside the nearly 5,000-square-foot Aranda/Lasch-designed venue located near the soon-to-open OMEGA Boutique, the evening presented interactive and decorative elements that demonstrated the relevance of OMEGA’s new technology, including choreographed magnetic dust projections; levitating watch displays; magnetic fluid sculptures; and a watchmaking photo booth.
The OMEGA Design District Boutique will open in mid-December as the second Miami outpost for the brand. OMEGA operates 31 boutiques in the U.S.
