Cindy Crawford pays first-ever visit to Russia with OMEGA

World-famous supermodel Cindy Crawford, who has been promoting the prestige Swiss watch brand OMEGA worldwide since 1995, today made her first-ever trip to the Russian Federation with the brand.

Cindy was invited to Moscow to celebrate the 50th anniversary of OMEGA's Constellation line. Her visit offered Russians the first opportunity to meet the personality who is not only famous for her enduring presence as an international fashion model, but also as having been instrumental in the design of the Constellation My Choice collection for ladies - one of the world's best selling ladies watches.

Cindy attended a special press conference preceded by a presentation of 50 years of the OMEGA Constellation, showing the highlights of this collection's rich history. A short film also presented Cindy's association with OMEGA and showed some of the many events she has attended with the brand worldwide.

Following the press conference, Cindy enjoyed the warm welcome of the Muscovite crowds as she visited OMEGA's three principal outlets in downtown Moscow. Her first stop was the Mercury shop on a new luxury retail street off Red Square, called Tretyakovsky Proezd, where she unveiled a collection of the new OMEGA Bijoux. She then visited the Consul shop on Nikolskaya St. 4/5, where she chose her five favourite drawings from the finalists in a competition among budding art students based on the theme "Cindy and her OMEGA". The winner received an OMEGA watch and the runners-up received other OMEGA prizes; all had their drawings signed by Cindy. The supermodels' final stop was at the Eurotime shop on Sretensky Boulevard 2, where she attended a unique 50th birthday party for the OMEGA Constellation.
