The W. Kruk Company was established in 1840 and is the oldest jewellery retailer in Poland. Few companies in Poland have over a one hundred-year history, yet this highly successful business has been managed for 162 years by 4 generations of the Kruk family. Today W.Kruk Co. is quoted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The company has its roots in Poznan, where the ancestors of Wojciech Kruk (the current majority owner) founded the business and where the HQ is still situated.Today, the company boasts a chain of 34 stores selling luxury jewellery and watches and the W.Kruk Group itself has other offshoots: Rytosztuka (jewellery), Deni Cler and Mia Piu (clothing boutique).

Special events were organised to mark the grand opening of the Flagship Store on Plac Konstytucji. As well as a fashion show featuring clothes from Deni Cler and W.Kruk's amber jewellery (highly popular in Poland), a dazzling display OMEGA gold and diamond watches was set out for VIP guests to admire. The decision to feature the brand so prominently as part of the opening celebrations reflects the world-wide importance of the brand.
