OMEGA reaches new heights with Hong Kong International Airport Flagship Store

Continuing its global Flagship Store retail strategy, leading international watchmaker OMEGA launched its second Hong Kong Flagship Store at Shop 6E109, East Hall, Level 6, at the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). The 42-square metre airport boutique is OMEGA's second Flagship Store in Hong Kong and its second airport boutique worldwide along with the Beijing Airport outlet.

As is the case with all of its elegant Flagship Stores, the airport boutique at HKIA provides a unique OMEGA retail experience with a comfortable shopping environment and a comprehensive range of OMEGA products including certain collections that are exclusively sold in OMEGA Flagship Stores. Among these, the OMEGA boutique at HKIA will feature the Bijoux collection and the Constellation Quadra Chrono collection: both exclusively available from OMEGA Flagship Stores.

Like its partner Flagship Store in Hong Kong, at No. 12 Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, the HKIA boutique features décor and furniture especially sourced by OMEGA to ensure consistency internationally and create a luxurious and distinctive shopping environment worthy of the high quality models housed inside. In addition, HKIA Flagship Store staff have been especially trained by OMEGA customer service specialists to ensure that the boutique's pre- and after-sales services meet OMEGA's exacting international standards.

Brand ambassador Richie Jen joined OMEGA representatives including Mr Stephen Urquhart, President of OMEGA, and Kevin Rollenhagen, Vice President of OMEGA for Hong Kong and China, in launching the new boutique. Ms Alessandra Piovesana, Managing Director of leading airport retail group, Nuance-Watson Ltd., and Mr Hans Bakker, Commercial Director of the Hong Kong Airport Authority also attended. As part of the afternoon's activities, Richie Jen and Alessandra Piovesana helped officiate the ceremony by dotting the eye of the lion after the traditional Chinese lion dance, and participating in a group ribbon cutting, before welcoming media and guests for a preview tour of the fashionable boutique.

Mr Urquhart commented on the success of the Flagship Store opening, saying, "OMEGA is very excited to open a second flagship store in Hong Kong, particularly in the strong retail environment of the Hong Kong International Airport. We are confident that the international strength of the OMEGA brand and our duty-free proposal will entice many of the thousands of international and local visitors to the airport to browse our stylish boutique when travelling. Opening the airport boutique shortly after launching our first OMEGA Hong Kong flagship store at No. 12 Canton Road confirms both the importance of the market to our global brand strategy and the city's ideal location with its strategic access to the China market and role as an international travel hub."
