Blue on blue

Since the early days of horology, the colour of blue has been synonymous with exquisite style and fine watchmaking. Back then, the hue on screws and hands appeared naturally when the steel was heated to make it resistant to corrosion. Today, the blue colour is a matter of statement, and it seems that watches cannot be too blue. Sky coloured dials, navy blue leather straps, bezels in indigo, even entire ceramic watchcases in the colour of midnight, make up the bluest collection of Omega.
