Eddie Redmayne is welcomed to OMEGA

Eddie Redmayne Omega 1

One of the world's most exciting young talents, Eddie Redmayne was last night officially welcomed into the OMEGA family as International Ambassador at an intimate private VIP dinner at Quaglino’s in Mayfair, London.

Guests joined Eddie for dinner and an evening of musical performances to celebrate the new partnership. The evening was attended by high profile International VIPs and renowned UK talents including; Chiwetel Ejiofor, who won the Bafta for Best Actor in a Leading Role, and was also nominated for a Best Actor Oscar award in 2013 for 12 Years a Slave; and Dan Stevens, best known for his lead role as Matthew Crawley in the acclaimed television series Downton Abbey.

MC for the evening, Clemency Burton-Hill, welcomed OMEGA President and Eddie onto the stage before the festivities began. When asked why Eddie makes such a perfect ambassador for the OMEGA brand, OMEGA President replied that beyond his obvious acting talent, Eddie has always carried himself with an elegance and integrity that is inspiring to all ages. He also demonstrates humility about his success – all qualities that are important to, and embody the spirit of OMEGA. Eddie commented that it was truly an honour to be invited to join the OMEGA family with such an impressive roster of acting and sporting greats, and he was looking forward to his new role.

A bespoke four course dining experience was created for guests, and in keeping with the elegant art-deco setting of Quaglino’s, the nostalgic sounds of the 1920’s and 1930’s filled the room. This included entertainment and performances from the spectacular seven piece orchestra of French singer Benoit Viellefon, and the gentle harmonies of London based trio ‘The Nightingale Girls’.

Redmayne joins an impressive list of other high profile OMEGA Ambassadors including George Clooney, Daniel Craig, Nicole Kidman, Rory McIlroy, and Cindy Crawford.
