Planet Ocean 600M Omega Co‑axial Master Chronometer GMT 45.5 mm Big Blue
Blue ceramic on rubber strap
The “Big Blue” is a combination GMT and divers' watch that delivers bold style and innovative design. The 45.5 mm case is made from blue ceramic, with a blue ceramic bezel featuring a Liquidmetal™ diving scale. A blend of orange rubber and ceramic covers the first 15 minutes. Orange rubber also colours the OMEGA logo on the crown and helium escape valve symbol.
The blue ceramic dial includes an orange GMT track, while the hands and indexes are in 18K white gold with a white Super-LumiNova coating. On the wave-edged caseback, there is a patented ceramic Naiad Lock that keeps the engraved wording in position.
The blue rubber strap includes orange stitching and lining as well as a ceramic foldover clasp. The watch is driven by the superb OMEGA Master Chronometer calibre 8906.
All OMEGA watches are delivered with a 5-year warranty that covers the repair of any material or manufacturing defects. Please refer to the operating instructions for specific information about the warranty conditions and restrictions.
24 hours GMT 24 hours GMTA GMT function means that the watch has a second hour hand which completes one full rotation in 24 hours and a 24-hour index on the dial. Particularly useful for wearers who wish to track two time zones.
The movement is unaffected by exposure to strong magnetic fields, even those greater than 1.5 tesla (15,000 gauss).
Label given to a watch which has undergone precision tests and received a certificate from an official body (COSC).
The day of the month, displayed in a window on a watch dial typically at the 3 o'clock or 6 o'clock position.
Helium escape valve Helium escape valve
Decompression system which allows helium to escape from inside the watch when the watch is worn for professional use in pressure chambers. (Long-term underwater work, crude oil exploration, etc.)
Liquidmetal is an alloy which is considerably harder than stainless steel yet bonds seamlessly with ceramics. The blended materials are particularly resistant to scratching and corrosion.
Screw-in crown Screw-in crown
Self-locking crown, screwed into the tube of the case, used for highly water resistant divers' watches.
Transparent case back Transparent case backA transparent case back - frequently made of sapphire - makes it possible to see the movement inside the watch.
Unidirectional rotating bezel Unidirectional rotating bezel
A bezel which turns in only one direction. Particularly useful for divers who cannot accidentally rotate it in the wrong direction, which could cause them to miscalculate their dive times. A rotating bezel makes it easy to measure elapsed time.
