The 1957 Trilogy
In 1957, OMEGA released three professional timepieces that would all go on to become absolute classics: The Seamaster 300, the Railmaster and the Speedmaster. In 2017, OMEGA is paying tribute to these three mechanical masterpieces by releasing special 60th Anniversary editions of each model.
The “Broad Arrow” was not only the first Speedmaster, it was also the first chronograph wristwatch in the world with its tachymeter scale on the bezel as opposed to printed on the dial. With its perfect match of the original '57 tachymeter, this 2017 Speedmaster stays true to this design. It is powered by the 1861 calibre.Watch details
The 1957 Railmaster was designed for those working close to electrical fields; and though the new model retains the original's unpretentious style, its Master Chronometer 8806 movement takes antimagnetic to a whole new level, resisting fields of 15,000 gauss.Watch details
“The spirit of '57 meets 21st century technology”
Based on the CK2913, this new Seamaster 300 features a black aluminium bezel and retains the famous Naïad sign on the crown, which back in '57 was a mark of exceptional water resistance. Powering the 2017 model is the Master Chronometer 8806.Watch details
"Each watch is delivered inside a presentation box inspired by the original 1957 packaging"
On both the sapphire-crystal and hesalite glass that protects each dial, a subtle OMEGA logo has been laser engraved. It’s a traditional touch that adds another edge of sophistication to these superbly crafted timepieces.
Each watch is limited to 3,557 pieces and is delivered inside a presentation box inspired by the original 1957 packaging, right down to the Seahorse on the lid, a retro logo and beige corduroy lining. The box also contains two spare straps; leather and NATO, as well as a tool to change them.
All three watches are cased in brushed and polished stainless steel and feature a black 'tropical' dial, with vintage indexes slightly deepened to allow filling with Super-LumiNova. The stainless steel bracelets have been updated for strength and aesthetics and feature a retro-style OMEGA logo on the clasp.
For enthusiasts not content with owning just one of these classic watches, OMEGA has created a very special Trilogy set, limited to just 557 pieces. Beautifully presented within a specially-engraved Swiss oak box, all three watches are engraved with identical Limited Edition numbers. The box also includes a leather watch roll with six spare straps (three leather/three NATO) as well as a wooden spring bar changing tool.Discover more
"The Trilogy set is a rare chance to own all three of these Limited Edition watches."
Unlike the models sold separately, the three watches in each Trilogy box are distinguished by unique Limited Edition numbers printed on the dial. For the owner, this means they will have a set of three exclusive watches that is truly one-of-a-kind.
