OMEGA times the
world’s best in Sochi

OMEGA proudly assumes its responsibilities of Olympic Games Official Timekeeper for the 26th time as spectators and sports fans around the world set their sights on Sochi to witness the many inspiring moments that will highlight the XXII Olympic Winter Games.

OMEGA was the first company to be entrusted with the Official Timekeeping of all the events included in the Los Angeles 1932 Olympic Games. Our association with the Games has led to more than 80 years of pioneering developments in the field of sports timekeeping! In Sochi, OMEGA will measure more than 650,000 times, distances and scores using 230 tonnes of timekeeping, scoring and data-handling equipment and more than 70 kilometres of copper and fibre-optic cables.

Like the thousands of elite athletes whose results we have captured, recorded and displayed, OMEGA is committed to the pursuit of perfection and flawless execution. As Official Timekeeper, we are privileged to work with the International Olympic Committee, the sporting federations and the athletes to ensure that the timekeeping technology used at the Sochi 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games continues to fuel the Olympic spirit and inspire younger generations of future champions around the world.
