Cased in black ceramic, this race-ready watch features a ceramic bezel with an OMEGA LiquidMetal™ diving scale that uses blue and red rubber - the colours of the New Zealand flag - for the first 10 minutes.
OMEGA LiquidMetal™ has also been used on the minute track and "START". The vertically-brushed black ceramic dial sports 18K white gold indexes and a GMT ring with day/night display.
An EMIRATES TEAM NEW ZEALAND logo in red rubber dominates the caseback which is ringed with the words CHALLENGER 35TH AMERICA'S CUP.
Presented on a black structured rubber strap with black and blue rubber lining and red stitching, it is powered by the OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 8906.
All OMEGA watches are delivered with a 5-year warranty that covers the repair of any material or manufacturing defects. Please refer to the operating instructions for specific information about the warranty conditions and restrictions.
Anti‑magnetic
Anti-magnetic
The movement is unaffected by exposure to strong magnetic fields, even those greater than 1.5 tesla (15,000 gauss).
Chronometer
Chronometer
Label given to a watch which has undergone precision tests and received a certificate from an official body (COSC).
Date
Date
The day of the month, displayed in a window on a watch dial at the 3 or 6 o’clock position, or within a subdial at 9 o'clock.
GMT and Worldtimer
GMT and Worldtimer
A GMT function means that the watch has a second hour hand which completes one full rotation in 24 hours and a 24-hour index on the dial. Particularly useful for wearers who wish to track two time zones.
Helium escape valve
Helium escape valve
Decompression system which allows helium to escape from inside the watch when the watch is worn for professional use in pressure chambers. (Long-term underwater work, crude oil exploration, etc.)
Master Chronometer Certified
Master Chronometer Certified
Guaranteeing the Swiss industry’s highest standard of precision, performance and magnetic-resistance, as set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
Regatta timing
Regatta timing
A watch function which allows the easy reading of the critical regatta time intervals at glance.
Screw‑in crown
Screw-in crown
Self-locking crown, screwed into the tube of the case, used for highly water resistant divers' watches.
Time zone function
Time zone function
Allows the hour hand to be easily adjusted to different time zones without stopping the watch.
Unidirectional rotating bezel
Unidirectional rotating bezel
A bezel which turns in only one direction. Particularly useful for divers who cannot accidentally rotate it in the wrong direction, which could cause them to miscalculate their dive times. A rotating bezel makes it easy to measure elapsed time.
