Speedmaster '57 Omega Co‑Axial Chronograph 41.5 mm "Rory McIlroy" Special Edition
Yellow gold on yellow gold
This Speedmaster model has been created in tribute to the golfer Rory McIlroy and provides several unique details in design. In particular, it celebrates the incredible course record of 61 he shot at Royal Portrush Golf Club at age 16 – a moment that helped ignite his career.
The watch follows the style of OMEGA's original Speedmaster from 1957 and features a sun-brushed champagne dial in PVD yellow gold with a blackened outer zone and minute track transferred in yellow gold colour. There is also a date window at the 6 o’clock position.
The unique subdials include a small-seconds counter at 9 o’clock and a 12-hour and 60-minute chronograph recorder at 3 o’clock. When exposed to a UV light, the subdials also reveal the numbers 16 and 61. The brushed bezel, with its tachymeter scale, is mounted on a 41.50 mm 18K yellow gold case, which is presented on a matching bracelet. At the heart of this chronograph is the OMEGA Co-Axial calibre 9301.
