SEAMASTER PLANET OCEAN ULTRA DEEP

After reaching the deepest place on Earth in 2019, the ground-breaking Ultra Deep watch has been repurposed into a new 45.5 mm collection available to the public. Tested in real ocean conditions, this incredible divers’ range is water-resistant to 6,000 metres (20,000 ft.) and certified to meet the ISO 6425 standard.

KEY FEATURES

  • Gradient Dials
All dials feature a transparent lacquer finish. In addition to the white dial, there is also the option of gradient-coloured dials, which transition from blue to black, or from grey to black. These complement the bezels crafted in ceramic.
  • Superior Metal

Six of the watches are crafted in new O-MEGASTEEL, a high-performance stainless steel alloy notable for its advanced strength, whiter colour, excellent corrosion-resistance, and incomparable shine.

  • Sonar Medallion

Each timepiece includes a Grade 5 Titanium medallion on the caseback, which has been laser-engraved with a Sonar emblem, in tribute to the World Record dive, and the OMEGA Seahorse at the centre.

THE TITANIUM MODEL

The new collection of seven watches is led by a bold version crafted in sand-blasted Grade 5 titanium. It features a brushed ceramic bezel with a Liquidmetal™ diving scale, along with distinctive “Manta Lugs” that support a striped NATO strap in black and cyan. The dial is black ceramised titanium with cyan numerals and brushed hands and indexes.

THE WORLD RECORD DIVE

In 2019, the explorer Victor Vescovo successfully piloted his deep submergence vehicle to a World Record depth of 10,935 m (35,876 ft) in the Mariana Trench. Two Ultra Deep watches were attached to the outside of the submersible, and after the 12-hour dive, each one resurfaced completely unscathed.
