Michael Phelps Visits OMEGA In Paris

As an inspirational brand ambassador since 2004, Michael Phelps is one of OMEGA’s greatest symbols of precision, power, and sporting excellence. With 28 Olympic Games medals to his name, including 23 gold, he still makes time for the Official Timekeeper that has recorded his most famous victories.

Taking advantage of a recent trip to Paris, Michael Phelps recently stopped by the OMEGA Boutique on the Champs-Elysée, where he spoke with staff and took a close-up look at the brand’s most recent collections.

Between 2004 and 2016, the athlete became the most decorated Olympian of all time. His career of wins and World Records stands alone amongst the pages of swimming history. For OMEGA, the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games, it was a true highlight to measure Michael’s many achievements, and form a close friendship that has lasted almost 20 years.

“OMEGA has been beside me throughout my career. Their dedication and quality is absolutely unquestionable.”

On the day of his store visit, he wore the Seamaster Professional Diver 300M, which typifies his love of robust and sporty OMEGA watches.

As the host of the next Olympic Games in 2024, Paris is a particularly newsworthy destination for sport. In just a few years, the city will witness the next wave of athletes achieving their dreams, while OMEGA records every moment. The brand has been Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games since 1932, and will fulfil the role for the 31st time when the event comes to the French capital.
