An OMEGA fan long before joining the brand’s distinguished roster of sports stars, Mondo Duplantis enjoyed his VIP tour of the facilities, watching the watchmakers in action, trying his hand at horology - and trying on a stylish selection of sunglasses.

The tour also included a visit to the METAS lab, where OMEGA’s watches undergo the highest level of testing. The kind of challenge the highest man in the world knows all too well.

Just hours after the factory tour, the record-breaking Swede claimed a season-leading 6.07m on a course laid out in Lausanne city centre: a new outdoor personal best he achieved wearing a beautiful blue “Ultra Light”.
