Official Timekeeper of the America’s Cup

The 36th edition of the “Auld Mug” marked OMEGA’s third time as Official Timekeeper. Having already timed the America’s Cup in 2000 and 2003, we returned to the role in 2021. To proudly serve the world’s best sailors on the waters of Auckland’s Waitemata Harbour and Hauraki Gulf and deliver split-second precision, even in the choppiest seas.

OMEGA has been a passionate supporter, sponsor and Official Timekeeper of Emirates Team New Zealand since 1995, when the brand partnered with America's Cup legend, the late Sir Peter Blake. The partnership still continues today and has included some of the most memorable victories in America’s Cup history.

The Chronograph worn by ETNZ

OMEGA’s Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M, worn by ETNZ is a stylish blend of steel and blue ceramic, with chronograph function for intuitive reading of elapsed time. As a Master Chronometer, it has proven its worth under the toughest conditions. Much like the Kiwi sailors who choose to wear it.
