ON BOARD WITH ALINGHI
Bringing two powerful Swiss brands together, OMEGA has officially joined forces with ALINGHI, a renowned sports team who have enjoyed numerous sailing victories, including two America’s Cup wins in 2003 and 2007. OMEGA ON DECK
From rookies to race-hardened veterans, sailors from all levels of the sport have taken to the water knowing that OMEGA is there in support. The brand proudly backs entire crews, such as Emirates Team New Zealand, times intrepid events such as the Volvo Ocean Race, or supports the efforts of just one sailor, such as Dame Ellen MacArthur when she broke the solo round-the-world record in 2005.
EMIRATES TEAM NEW ZEALAND
OMEGA has been a passionate supporter, sponsor and Official Timekeeper of Emirates Team New Zealand since 1995, when the brand partnered with America's Cup legend, the late Sir Peter Blake.

ETNZ "DEEP BLACK"

On the ocean, the “Deep Black” rises to every challenge

ESSENTIAL KIT: THE SPEEDMASTER X-33
OMEGA committed to equipping each member of the Kiwi crew with a new timepiece, before they took to the waters of Bermuda for the 35th America’s Cup. Sporting a mix of analogue and digital functions, the X-33 includes an ingenious Regatta function, to keep track of the critical five minute count-down to the start of the race.
…" It was a great experience working alongside OMEGA's design team. They respected my input and were 100% committed to producing a timepiece fit for boat racing at the highest level"…
Peter Burling and Blair Tuke, the Olympic and America’s Cup champions, represent OMEGA on the water.
THE WORLD’S TOUGHEST RACE

In 1990, it was won by Sir Peter Blake and has always remained a true test for the toughest sailors. OMEGA is the Official Timekeeper of the event, helping to track progress through every dramatic leg.

ALL FOR ONE
There's no place for the maverick outsider in sailing. It's a team sport and everyone must work in synch to achieve great results. At OMEGA, we take the same approach to watchmaking. We're all about teamwork and we bring that same collective spirit to our support for ETNZ.
With a strong sense of national pride, OMEGA is supporting the new generation of Swiss champions. Team TILT is a squad of ambitious and talented young sailors hoping to make their mark at the Red Bull Youth America's Cup, which runs alongside the main event in Bermuda.
