Then, in 1894, we created the revolutionary 19-ligne “OMEGA” calibre – which changed the watch industry forever and gave us our famous name. THE 19-LIGNE "OMEGA" LEGACY
The original 19-ligne “OMEGA” calibre introduced pioneering mechanisms and industrial-scale production lines. To celebrate its enduring success, OMEGA is giving the movement a new lease of life in 2019. Using original components and modern expertise, the watchmakers in OMEGA’s Atelier Tourbillon will create 19 new calibres for a very special pocket watch project.
This exquisite timepiece has been crafted from 18K yellow gold with a burgundy leather strap and a red enamel dial. The caseback includes an anniversary medallion, as well as a decorative engraving known as "damaskeening".
